5G is nothing more than a marketing term. ATT technically calls theirs LTE+ as I use them with a "5G" phone. Verizon also has the same. There's not a whole lot difference. I have better coverage with ATT typically. I had ATT and switched to TMobile and had much bett AT&T holds coverage the whole way except for a 1mi gap across a bridge. Verizon and T-Mobile were very spotty and Verizon had gaps of up to 10 miles without coverage.
