Updated the tunes to the truck and now I can't get it to fire at all. Yes it's very common for the wires to rub through at the bracket near the alternator. Unwrap the loom, and inspect the wires, repair wear and insulate the wires with old garden hose. Rewrap loom. It runs great,no smoke,no fuel in oil.I have had the fuel filter housing rebuilt,a FASS fuel pump system installed,fuel pressure regulator and a glow plug module.1) (No Start) Disconnect the electrical connector and return line from one injector. Plug the fuel return line fitting with a suitable tool (CH-50377-A). Crank the engine for 15 seconds and verify no fuel leaks from the injector. If fuel leaks from the injector, replace it. I rebuilt the primer on the fuel filter housing and replace the bleed screw on the filter housing. That fixed my problem.
