26 posts · Joined 2013. #5 · Mar 4, 2021. These transmissions are notably jerky/clunky (I mean, there's 11 gears when you include reverse). This is not exactly uncommon with Honda's in my experience. Mine seems to be pretty jerky when shifting while the engine is still cold...but smooths out quite a bit once warm.It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two. The 2014 Honda Accord has 1458 problems & defects reported by Accord owners. The worst complaints are electrical, engine, and accessories - interior problems.I was looking into getting a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe 2.4L with 119,240 miles. The car has a CVT transmission. I've heard that these accords can run into issues with their CV transmissions, and was wondering what anyone's thoughts were on the transmission, as well as any other issues I should look out for.
