I have been a Hidive subscriber since the anime network transition (RIP $3.99 special subscriber price). Anyways, I am going to be getting an iPhone soon and I do a lot of my anime watching on my phone via Netflix, Crunchyroll, Funimation, and of course Hidive. On Hidives website it says that mature titles are not available on iOS and apple TV.Companies having a monopoly means we all lose as consumers. As much as I don’t like Hidive’s app, it keeps Crunchyroll from buying everything and jacking the price up. And hidive tends to go for shows that Crunchyroll also won’t touch. Plus it’s $4/mo if you pay for it by the year.Some people in a group in Facebook I am part of have mentioned HiDive is removing their services from some regions, and they show some emails they are getting from HiDive that mention something about changes that make it impossible to continue providing service in their region after May 31st.
