I kept on driving the car throughout the day and eventually back to VA this morning, and i've noticed if i turned the car off and turned it back on..it'll reset the lights and everything works fine. To turn it off: Press the ESP button on the dash of your Mercedes-Benz and hold it for 5 seconds. This will reset the light. As the scanner has no ability to turn MIL on, guess I'm in the crapper on this one. Scanner is a U581.The ESP is clearly still functioning and the car's performance seems to be unaffected. Not sure if it is a coincidence - but this message cropped-up within days of taking the car in to Mercedes for annual maintenance. Any thoughts on this issue?
