Hi UIUC people! I'm planning to drop a course for the semester, but I need at least 2 extra credit hours to be able to maintain full-time student status with the university if I drop it. I was wondering if any of you would recommend a specific class to take that's either fun, an easy A, or both! I have all my gen eds done, so any class works.Dropping one of my classes so I have some room in my schedule. Realized I still need a non-western to finish up my Gen Eds and might as well knock it out this semester. Do you guys have any recommendations for an easy 8-week non-western in the second half of the fall semester that I can take? Sorry if this has been posted before lol.Class itself is easy, I barely studied and still got an A. Pretty generous with the midterm, a little harsher on the final and a paper that requires a mediocre amount of outside research. PS390 (Am. Foreign Policy) w/Rumsey - Another very interesting class that goes over very pertinent information and has a current events aspect.Here are 10 of the easiest classes at UIUC. 1. GEOL 111 – Emergence of Life. Examines important theoretical and practical questions regarding the origin and evolution of life, as well as the search for life elsewhere in the universe. 2. MACS 101 – Intro to the Media.It may not be inspiring, but one of the smartest things I did at UIUC was take a personal finance course. Economics for me in high school just taught GDP and supply/demand curve shifts, and if one doesn't have a good foundational understanding of personal finance, it can be a life-changing course, for sure. 9.This subreddit is for anyone/anything related to UIUC. For over a year, multiple students have tried to go through university channels to correct this abusive behavior, including Title IX, HR, OAE (Office of Access and Equity), and two School of Music Directors.
