Blinking yellow lights. help. I recently received an Alienware alpha i5 model for Christmas and on the day it was great it worked perfectly and all I wanted to do on there worked fine. But after the first day when I go to power it on the alpha led on the front (aliens head) proceeds to blink 5 times on a loop.The display utilizes a dual-color LED back light with the following modes of operation: For the System ID state: White letters on a blinking blue background. This PC is out of warranty, and from what I read, the problems I had of a dying system were either the power supply or the motherboard. Slight possibility of front panel board.
