New UPS PVD work schedule confusion - Got hired for the PVD position the 21st, and was told I'd be texted/called and asked if I'm available to work each day, and then given a time to show up, etc. Monday night my sup asked if I was available Tuesday, I said yes, got a call from my UPS Driver, everything went well.PVD’s take work off of actual full time drivers, who are unionized employees with 100% guaranteed 8 hours of work everyday. This happens every single year, like clockwork. UPS screws over their own employees, seasonals are no different.
