A while back I posted a Gen 5 Glock 17 slide on a Shadow Systems frame and all worked perfectly fine. Figuring that the Gen 4 G17 slide would be most compatible with the SS Frame, I bought a G17 slide and had it cut for a 509T so I could join that sweet enclosed emitter gang. Unfortunately, there seems to be a severe incompatibility issue.
