Radiation oncology; applicant; match; online database; student doctor network Introduction Radiation oncology is a competitive specialty in which approximately 200 medical students per year apply to residency programs [1]. The number of applicants has been steadily rising in the past decade [2]. The National Resident Match Program (NRMP) I have absolutely zero experience in RadOnc so I cannot comment on the content of the post but I can only suggest to take everything you read on SDN with a grain of salt. This could very well be an MS3 with a 236 on Step 1 who just wants to knock a few people out of the ring to help himself/herself out next year.
